Spartan Vanguard
Spartan Vanguard is a math club at LCHS focusing on extracurricular math, problem solving, and competitions.
SV is open to all LCUSD students interested in math beyond the classroom.
The goals of the club are to:
motivate, engage, train, and coach enthusiastic students in advanced math topics, analytical and quantitative thinking,
develop a rigorous math culture as an extracurricular, social activity beyond the classroom,
support preparation for quantitative sections of national tests, including PSAT, SAT, and ACT,
support preparation for math competitions. See the competitions page for a list of local and national math contests.
