Vanguard Math Tournament 2024
The 6-8th grade Vanguard Math Tournament was a success and we are glad to have been able to host this competition! Thank you to the attendees and volunteers who made this event possible.

Congratulations to all our attendees for their outstanding performance! Our team this year won several awards, including a 1st place finish in the Puzzle Hunt, two wins in the Games and Strategies, and several honorable mentions.

Congratulations to both teams who participated in this competition, and to Team 1 for achieving a 1st place finish in division B!

Spartan Vanguard 2023 - 2024 Club Meetings Update:
Thank you to all attending the weekly SV Meetings in both 9/12 and 7/8! Spartan Vanguard continues to practice for a variety of different math competitions, including AMC 10/12, BMT, and more.
It's not too late to join SV this year! Click the sign up form below and come to a club meeting on Monday in Mr. Nunez's room (Room 217) or Wednesday in Mrs. Mascheroni's room (Room 724) to get involved.

Interested in improving your problem-solving skills and competing in math competitions? Join LCHS’s math club, Spartan Vanguard!
A few competitions we will be competing in this year are AMC (American Math Competition) 10 & 12, BMT (Berkeley Math Tournament), and SMT (Stanford Math Tournament). Volunteering opportunities are also offered for VMT and Aleph, which are middle school and high school math competitions that Vanguard organizes.
Meetings are held on Mondays for 9/12, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM in Room 217 (Mr. Nunez’s Room) and Wednesdays for 7/8, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in Room 724 (Mrs. Mascheroni's Room). Sign up using this link: Sign up Form.
