Club Day 2024
During this year's club day we attracted many from the crowd and gained several new members. Thank you Leo for assembling the trifold and to everyone who represented our club today!

Berkeley Math Tournament (11/2/24)
We attended the annual Berkeley Math Tournament in person this year. Our competitors worked hard through two team rounds and individual tests.
Caltech Math Meet (1/25/25)
For the first competition of 2025, we visited our local CalTech. Congratulations to our competitors for putting forth an outstanding effort!
Aleph-5 (3/15/25)
This year we hosted our 5th annual Aleph competition for students in grades 12 and below. For more information, visit this page.

Stanford Math Tournament (4/11-4/12)
This year we sent a total of twelve competitors to attend the annual Stanford Math Tournament in person. Congratulations to our teams for placing in the top 100 in the Guts round!

Interested in improving your problem-solving skills and competing in math competitions? Join LCHS’s math club, Spartan Vanguard!
A few competitions we will be competing in this year are AMC (American Math Competition) 10 & 12, BMT (Berkeley Math Tournament), and SMT (Stanford Math Tournament). Volunteering opportunities are also offered for VMT and Aleph, which are middle school and high school math competitions that Vanguard organizes.
Meetings are held on Mondays for 9/12, from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM in Room 217 (Mr. Nunez’s Room) and Wednesdays for 7/8, from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM in Room 724 (Mrs. Mascheroni's Room). Sign up using this link: Sign up Form.
